Hi, I'm Revital.
This is my keto story — the highs, the struggles, the lessons, and the recipes that changed everything.
How It All Started
Three years ago, I was tired all the time. Despite eating what I thought was a "balanced diet," I had no energy, struggled with brain fog, and felt stuck in a cycle I couldn't break.
A friend mentioned the ketogenic diet, and I was skeptical — cutting carbs sounded like torture. But I gave myself 30 days. By day 10, something shifted. My energy stabilized, the brain fog lifted.
What started as a 30-day experiment became a lifestyle. I lost 22 lbs over five months, but more importantly, I discovered a completely new relationship with food.
This blog is where I share everything I've learned — the recipes I rely on, the mistakes I made, and the tips no one tells you at the beginning.
Tips I Wish Someone Told Me
The things that actually made a difference after months of trial and error.
The "keto flu" is almost always an electrolyte issue. Salt generously, drink magnesium-rich water, and supplement potassium.
Most beginners under-eat fat and wonder why they're hungry. Fat is your fuel on keto.
Spending Sunday prepping three or four staples eliminates the "nothing to eat" problem entirely.
Tracking teaches you what's in your food — many people are surprised by hidden carbs in "healthy" foods.
Poor sleep spikes cortisol, which can slow fat burning and trigger cravings.
One off-plan meal won't ruin everything. Guilt around food is far more damaging than a slice of birthday cake.
